"I enjoyed Mark and Anna's routine. I feel for Mark so much. He got crucified and did not deserve it. He took it like a champ though. Mark is an amazing person, the truest gentleman. He will never pass by without a hello, never miss a hand, never miss a smile. But he's also a great dancer with a lot of potential. The routine wasn't perfect, but he had hip action, bounce action, a lot of material and a crazy, gravity-defying flip. To give him a 6? Are you crazy? Once again, I thought the comments were so rude. Kung Fu Panda doing samba on the Planet of the Apes? Really Bruno? We all like to have fun, but the judges were having too much "fun" there. People put their lives on hold to do the show and you don't treat them like that."

I only watched Dancing With the Stars because Mark was on the show - but silly me, I thought the judges were professionals. After a while, I realised they are mainly entertainment. I also realised that they have their favorites - or maybe it's DWTS that have them?

Farewell ....
Michael Irving was eliminated and Mark and Aaron were in the dance-off.Aaron had the jive and Mark had the Cha Cha Cha.
Sadly, the judges preferred the jive, so Mark and Lacey have left the competition.
It's been seven exciting weeks and I'm happy knowing that Mark had a great time and that LOTS more people now know who Mark Dacascos is: A STAR! And the nicest guy you could ever meet.

Phillip Stephens is a professional ballroom dance judge and co-owner of The Dance Place in Houston. Jitterbug review, week 6
"What a nice performance! He came alive in this one, putting lots of fun into every part of the routine. His tricks were clean and “spot on” with a smile as big as Texas. He should definitely get 28+ points It really bothers me that the judges make such a big issue of a little stumble instead of recognizing how well the person has recovered.9+9+8 = 26, which I think was too low for that very high-quality performance."
Paso Doble review, week 5
Nice opening pose. Lacey looked superb. Mark still looks a bit stiff in many movements. He did look nice and strong in this dance, but not polished enough. 24 points?Judges made a bit much out of what he actually provided because his martial arts training should enable him to provide 3 or 4 times the refinement 9+9+8 = 26
Two Step review, week 4
First lift was effortless looking. His timing is still just a bit odd, but he certainly got some rhythm going and connected better with Lacey. He really just let go and performed that routine. I think - if Lacey will just teach the man how to dance - they could do well in the contest. I’d give this one around 21 pointsBruno – liked it, though he noticed he lost his footing.
Carrie Ann – Saw the confidence, connection and grounding.
Len – liked the choreography. Mark was really helping, though the footwork was a bit heavy at times.
8+7+7 = 22 – a point better than I anticipated.

Thanks for voting everyone!I don't have any info on the time yet, and I can't guarantee that I'll be able to inform you in time, so please keep an eye out yourself.
But I've heard a little bird sing that Mark is going in Monday morning to be interviewed.
Lacey had a touch of the flu, so Tony Dovolani stepped in to help teach Mark. Mark is shooting Iron Chef America in New York.
Monday it's the Samba plus group dance Paso Doble. Will Mark and Lacey repeat their great Paso? Or will it be a new variation? Team Paso Doble consists of Mya & Dmitry, Aaron & Karina, Michael & Anna D., and Mark &aml; Lacey.
Unfortunatley, Lacey's fallen victim to the flu, so Anna Trebunskaya might stand in for Lacey on Monday.
Monday will also be the day we see the costume Mark designed for Lacey - possible with a little help from Randall Christensen. Hmm - If Mark is dancing with Anna, I guess the costume might be cancelled ...

He was Bret's personal Kung-Fu teacher. Once someone posted that Mark is a health nut and only drinks green tea, so I guess he's already disproved that himself (see above).
"Yes, I'm definitely into healthy eating, but not too eccentric. My primary drinks are water and green tea, but I do enjoy coffee a few times a week, and when I eat pancakes or waffles, I prefer a Soy Latte. I'll have a little wine or another alcoholic beverage with dinner on occasion.

"Rehearsals are going well, though I did hurt my foot on the first day. Lacey asked me to show her some of the Martial Arts moves I like doing, so I showed her some jump kicks and a butterfly-twist. Then I did a Capoeira move and slammed my left foot down too hard; gave myself a big bruise on my sole. Guess I just wanted to prove that I really am just a beginner at Capoeira. My foot's healed now, but it made the first few days a little more difficult.

"Why You Know Him: He's "The Chairman" on Iron Chef America, you know, the guy who announces the secret ingredient in an overly dramatic way.
How He'll Do: He's got a strong background in martial arts (he was in the Jet Li film Cradle 2 the Grave), and he's got the intensity required for the Paso Doble, but not sure how that will translate to all the other dances. Plus, he's going to have to prove himself like Gilles Marini did last season, since he's less of a household name than the other C-listers."

Mark was on ExtraTV yesterday - I hope someone caught it.
